Decision Support

If we choose this path, what's our exposure?

There are many occasions in business where the optimal choice is not clear, or where the impacts of a particular decision can have significant effects on the future operations of the company. The analysis of such decision points is called decision support and doesn't  have to be done based on hunches, intuition, or best guess.

If you find yourself in need of a better approach to making decisions, please contact us. We use techniques such as probabilistic path analysis, risk exposure, and Monte Carlo modeling to help quantify the effects of different decision paths and estimate the probable impacts of a particular decision. Some impacts are mostly financial, some affect schedules, others affect staffing, or some other resource. Most decisions affect all of these issues. With the proper analytical approach, you no longer have to make your decisions in a vacuum, but instead can proceed with confidence by understanding the probable outcomes and their impacts.

If you would like to make your next critical go/no-go decision with a better understanding of the potential impacts of that decision, please contact us.
